Licenses & Prices
xmCHART is sold exclusively over the Internet. For a safe and secure transaction, we use the Paddle.com order processing service. Paddle.com accepts all major credit cards as well as PayPal. Prices listed are exclusive of local sales taxes such as VAT. VAT for European buyers will be added at the time of sale. After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation from Paddle.com and your user ID and activation code for xmCHART via email, usually within a few minutes.
All licenses are cross-platform, i.e. the same activation code can be used in macOS, Windows and Linux. xmCHART 5 is a one-time purchase, no annual subscription. All xmCHART 5 licenses are perpetual licenses, i.e. you can use xmCHART 5 indefinitely. All 5.x updates are free for owners of a valid xmCHART 5 license.
Standard Licenses
The Single User License allows you to use xmCHART on FileMaker Pro. The Single User License does not work on FileMaker Server or in combination with FileMaker WebDirect. The activation code works on both macOS and Windows.

The Multi-user License allows you to use xmCHART in FileMaker Pro on a single network. The Multi-user License does not work on FileMaker Server or in combination with FileMaker WebDirect. After payment, you will receive an activation code that is valid for both macOS and Windows.

The Site License lets you use xmCHART in FileMaker Pro, on FileMaker Server, in FileMaker WebDirect. The number of users is the maximum number of concurrent users who are allowed to use xmCHART simultaneously on a single network. There is no such limit for the number of WebDirect users. After payment you will receive one cross-platform activation code valid for FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Server and FileMaker WebDirect.

Developer Licenses
A Developer License entitles you to distribute xmCHART for FileMaker Pro in custom projects to an unlimited number of companies or organizations. The Developer License does not work on FileMaker Server or in combination with FileMaker WebDirect. The number of users is the maximum permitted users per company or organization. If you buy, for example, a 10-user license you can distribute xmCHART with your custom projects to an unlimited number of companies or organizations as long as there are no more than 10 persons per company or organization using the solution. Your database solutions have to be protected by way of removal of access privileges so that users cannot access the activation code of xmCHART. After payment you will receive one activation code valid for macOS and Windows. The minimum number of users per company or organization is 5.

The Runtime License lets you use xmCHART within a FileMaker Runtime solution. Your runtime solution has to be protected by way of removal of access privileges so that users cannot access the activation code of xmCHART. After payment you will receive one activation code valid for macOS and Windows and, in addition, a complimentary xmCHART Single User License for testing and developing. For installing xmCHART in a FileMaker Runtime solution, please refer to FAQ.
Please note that the ability to create runtime solutions has been discontinued in FileMaker Pro 19.
